Updating Your Riot Customs Theme

Updating your theme helps keeps your site running smoothly. Although most updates are via the Genesis Framework every once in a while out child theme need a little TLC.

So instead of installing the latest version of our theme and losing all the customization you've made to the CSS and in some cases PHP file. I'm going to show you how to just use the updated code to place into your existing theme. 

First, you'll need to do is compare the code, in order to do so we're going to use a site called DiffNow. 

Upload your theme file (style.css) in first and the current theme file (style.css) in second.

You can also copy and paste them using the Text Input if you want. Then lick on "Compare". Now you'll be able to see what's been changed, added or deleted.
